Shark Fin Posters
Shark fin soup is an interesting dish. The fin itself has little flavor or nutritional value. When the shark is caught, 95% of its finless body is thrown overboard. The market for shark fin soup is driven by Asian countries who believe eating the soup is a sign of elevated status. The soup is served at weddings and ceremonies, before the entrees. Since each year, 100 million sharks are doomed to steep in soup, I used minimal illustration and mockery copy to present this luxury item.
